From MMA’s operational facilities in Aberdeen, we provide our clients with design, manufacture and testing of bespoke integrated solutions to service the offshore oil and gas and renewable industries globally.
MMA has a dedicated production team and a large fabrication facility that specialise in various welding and fabrication activities. Qualified to a high standard of welding procedures, our technicians are capable of welding both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our skilled team of workshop technicians have the capabilities to conduct a broad range of assembly and testing activities, both onshore and offshore.
Our in-house machine workshop is fully equipped to offer precision CNC machining, milling and turning operations and offers a suite of inspection equipment, including CMM, for QC/QA requirements.
MMA’s one-stop-shop approach allows our team to react efficiently to client work scopes and provide cost-effective solutions in condensed lead times.
Project Experience
MMA was awarded the full remedial scope for 23 caissons as part of the bi-annual maintenance program.
MMA has developed an innovative Subsea Valve System (SVS) that reinstates the full functionality of the XT without having to refurbish or replace the XT and with significant reduced production down time.
Allseas contracted MMA to design and fabricate two sleepers to place as new supports on either side of the Rota 2 pipeline.
MMA was contracted to design, engineer and fabricate ten (10) culverts to protect the pipeline from dropped objects.
MMA worked with the Client and Worley Parsons to deliver a high strength grouted connection between the jacket leg member and an internally placed mandrel.
To accommodate a new 170m long vessel, Citic Pacific required the port’s berthing pocket to be deepened from 10m to 11m.
