Using advanced geophysical technology, MMA’s team of subsea engineers are capable of performing surveys of the subsea environment, including the seabed and subsea structures. We also provide geotechnical investigations for both the offshore wind and oil and gas markets. Possessing a range of specialised equipment, we are also heavily experienced in delivering bathymetric survey services, rig positioning and subsea acoustic positioning services.

Project Experience
MMA Offshore was contracted by the Australian Government, Department of Defence to undertake the Cape Barren to Babel Island Hydrographic Survey.
MMA Offshore is a primary contractor to oil and gas operators, providing autonomous underwater vehicle solutions to collect seafloor and sub-seafloor data to assist in the engineering design of subsea infrastructure.
MMA Offshore was contracted by the Australian Government, Department of Defence to undertake the Mavis Reef (East), Bonaparte Archipelago Hydrographic Survey. The objective of the Survey was to update Australian Hydrographic Office Charts AUS730, AUS732, AUS320 and AUS323 through the provision of safety of navigation hydrographic surveys.
To reduce pipeline stresses, 4 grouted supports (2 at each touchdown point, on either side of the shoulder) were installed.
Shell Australia’s Prelude Project is a floating LNG project located approximately 465 km north-north east of Broome in Western Australia.
MMA was contracted by Geokentics to coordinate an international OBC & TZ fleet, including operation of a cable laying vessel, an accommodation vessel and a gun boat.
