The MMA Prestige was designed and built by MMA Offshore. The vessel is a multipurpose DP2 ROV subsea operations vessel. Immediately after its delivery in 2016 MMA entered into a DSV partnership with Boskalis. The partnership was based on an innovative chartering model where Bosaklis is responsible for the dive and
Boskalis installed the Sat 4 (a 12 man saturation diving system) on the board the Prestige and are responsible for operating it offshore. MMA maintains and operates the vessel and as required provides technical assistance to Boskalis.
