Since joining the Australian Hydrographic Office’s HydroScheme Industry Partnership Program in 2020, MMA has been proud to deliver a range of outstanding hydrographic survey services to the Australian Department of Defence. As a pioneering marine services business, we’ve had a unique opportunity through this partnership to promote innovation in the maritime domain and to drive excellence in the delivery of Defence hydrographic services.
Now in its fourth year, the Australian Defence Industry Awards celebrates the top individuals and businesses operating in Australia which support the defence supply chain. As a coveted accolade for stakeholders, high performers within the defence industry are showcased and championed.
Held at the National Convention Centre in Canberra on Thursday 15 September and attended by over 900 members of the defence industry, the Awards recognised MMA amongst eight other finalists in the Naval Business of the Year category.
While MMA unfortunately didn’t walk away with the award on the night, our recognition on this national platform as a finalist is an absolute testament to the high quality of MMA’s Subsea Services division and our broader support teams and their outstanding work in providing exceptional services to Defence.
We look forward to continuing our strong working relationship with the Australian Department of Defence, as well as providing ongoing investment in the development of Australia’s hydrographic industry.
